Art Deco Blue Sapphire & Diamond Square Ring
A lovely solid ring from the Art Deco period, c1920s. The ring is made from 18ct gold with a platinum top as was customary at the time. At the centre is a square cut sapphire, which I believe to be synthetic, with a fairly high table and a lovely striking blue. Surrounding this is a square of old mine cut diamonds. The setting has a pretty millegrain finish and is classic to the period. The ring has a solid structure overall and is in excellent condition.

Size - The head of the ring measures approx 9mm square. The sapphire is around 3.5mm square.
Ring Size - UK O US 7 1/4. This ring could be resized
Condition - Very good. Two corners of the sapphire are a little rubbed, noted for accuracy only and visible only through magnification. Otherwise, excellent
