Art Deco Gold Bead Necklace, 15"

£0.00
sold out

A lovely and fairly rare necklace from the Art Deco period, c1920s. The necklace is a series of 9ct gold beads threaded onto a silver fox link chain. The beads are hollow and move freely along the chain, though they are secure. It is a very effective necklace and looks beautiful with a bunch of chains or worn alone. It is a lovely alternative to the regular chain link necklaces we all wear everyday.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (marked), Silver

Age - C1920s

Size - The beads are slightly graduated to the centre with the largest diameter as 4.8mm and the smallest at 3.2mm. The necklace is just about 15” long.

Condition - Very good. No notable dings to the beads. The necklace kinks along the way when laid flat, though this seems to dissipate when the necklace is being worn.

Weight - 8.61g
