Art Deco Pool of Light Necklace, 16"
A stunning necklace from the Art Deco period, c1920s. The necklace is a wonderful string of rock crystal beads, known as a Pool of Light necklace due to the fact that the beads create pools of light wherever they sit. These beads have been set in silver floral frames, each bead showing a flower on two sides. The necklace is complete with a large silver bolt ring clasp, which looks to be a replacement, though they came to me as they are.
Details:
Materials - Silver (tested), Rock Crystal
Age - C1920s
Size - The beads measure approx 13.5mm in diameter each. The necklace is around 16” long, though it fits slightly smaller than this due to the size of the beads.
Condition - Excellent. Some patina to the silver due to age. This could be polished up a little.
Weight - 80g
