Art Deco Synthetic Ruby Earrings
A pretty pair of earrings from the Art Deco period, c1920s. The earrings are made from 14kt gold, marked 585 on the hooks, and have a trace of an Austrian hallmark indicating that they were hallmarked in Vienna (W). They have beautiful, bright synthetic rubies set into decorative rectangular settings. The rubies are a vibrant pink and are in lovely condition with no rubs or wear to the gemstones. They are topped by little clear paste stones, set in silver. Complete with dormeuse fastenings, they are very secure in the ear.
