Austro Hungarian Crystal Opal Earrings
A stunning pair of earrings from the late 19th Century that likely started life as buttons. The earrings are made from 800 silver, as is the way with Austro Hungarian pieces. They have a beautiful pierced floral design that has twelve individually set crystal opals on the front. The opals have the most wonderful play of colour, with purples and oranges being the overriding appearance. They are a lovely large size and make a real statement in the ear.

Condition - Very good. Two opals have a little chip to one end, one on each earring. Noted for accuracy only and only visible through magnification.
