Charles Horner Heart Ring

A pretty ring from the early 20th Century, dated Chester 1913. The ring is made from sterling silver and has a fabulous, slightly elongated, heart emblem with a patterned split shank. The ring is stamped with the makers mark C.H. for Charles Horner. Although Horner died in 1896, his sons continued the business and this is from the Charles Horner factory. This particular maker is more known for their Art Nouveau enamel items, though any pieces made by them are generally collectors items.

Materials - Sterling Silver (marked)

Age - Dated Chester 1913

Size - The central heart measures approx 7mm by 6mm.

Ring Size - UK K 1/2 US 5 1/2 This ring cannot be resized

Condition - Good. The pattern in the shank is fairly worn, though still decipherable.

Weight - 0.84g
