Antique Garnet Drop Earrings

£0.00
sold out

A beautiful pair of earrings from the late Victorian/early Edwardian period, c1900s, made during a time for Georgian revival jewels. The earrings are made from 9ct gold that has a very slight rosy tint to it and have pretty flat cut garnets set in closed back settings. The garnets are in a little sequence of one round, one oval and one pear and are a lovely deep red colour. The earrings are fairly lightweight making them very easy to wear and the hooks look to be a later addition. Overall, they are in very good order and look beautiful in the ear.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (tested), Garnets

Age - C1900s

Size - The earrings measure approx 29mm long excluding the hook.

Condition - Very good. Minor wear commensurate with age.

Weight - 1.88g the pair
