Early Victorian Rare White Enamel Heart Locket
The most exquisite and rare heart locket from the early Victorian period, c1840s. The locket is made from solid 18ct gold and has matte white enamel to the front and the back with the letters ‘G’ and ‘F’ hand written in gold into the enamel. It is extremely unusual to find lockets such as this in white enamel and this one has been perfectly made. It has a lovely hidden hinge and is complete with the original glass filled frames on the inside. The heart shaped frames can be removed to place your own little momento behind. This is truly a wonderful piece and ideal for any collector. I have never seen another.

Size - The heart measures approx 11mm square excluding the bail
Condition - Very good. There is a chip to the tip of the enamel on the ‘F’ side, otherwise, excellent, particularly given its age.
