Early Victorian Turquoise & Diamond Ring
A gorgeous, dainty ring from the early Victorian period, c1840s. The ring is made from 18ct gold, with a slight rosy hue, and has a smooth cabochon turquoise at the centre, which has coloured towards green with age. Surrounding this is a halo of sparkling diamond chips, set very securely in place. The ring is complete with an elegant split shank and a decorative design to the shoulders. The back of the ring is closed and has a pretty fluted design.
