A wonderful pendant from the Edwardian period, c1905. The pendant is made from solid high carat gold that tests as at least 15ct gold. It is a beautiful construction with little seed pearls individually set in millegrain settings. The pearls form the outline of a star and at the centre is a beautiful deep purple amethyst. The amethyst has interesting triangular claws that compliment the eight pointed star perfectly. The pendant has its original bail and is in exquisite condition. A truly exceptional quality piece.
