Edwardian 18ct Opal & Rose Diamond Ring

A beautiful and vibrant ring from the late Edwardian period, c1915. The ring is made from 18ct gold, marked on the inside of the shank, and has a wonderful fiery opal at the centre. The opal sits in a plain bezel setting with a white gold mount and has beautiful flashes of greens and blues. It is a striking opal, whilst the ring remains very elegant. There is a rose cut diamond set in geometric white gold settings on either side and the shoulders of the shank have wonderful carving. An exceptionally pretty ring in excellent condition.

Size - The central opal measures approx 9mm by 5mm. The setting measures approx 14mm across the finger.
