Edwardian 9ct Bird in Heart Pendant
A pretty pendant from the Edwardian period, c1910s. The pendant is made from solid 9ct gold and is marked on the underside of the little birds tail. The heart has a pretty twisted design and the bird within has lovely markings for the feathers. I believe the bird is a wren, which symbolises patience and persistence. Such a pretty little piece that could be worn alone or with a bunch of charms.
The pendant will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.
