Edwardian 9ct 'Studdy' Bracelet

£0.00
sold out

An amazing bracelet from the Edwardian period, c1910. The bracelet is made from 9ct gold, which has a rose colour to it, typical of gold pieces from this era. It has two chains running parallel to each other with gold letters holding them in place. The letters spell out the word ‘Studdy’; a cute name or nickname. Looking into the name a little, it seems to represent someone with a little ‘joie de vivre’ and an outgoing personality. The block lettering on this bracelet is very appealing and it is a wonderful and rare find. The clasp mirrors the style of lettering and has a good, secure click.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (tested)

Age - Early 20th Century

Size - The letters measures approx 8mm high each and the bracelet is around 6 3/4” long. It would fit a small to medium wrist well.

Condition - Excellent

Weight - 4.78g
