Edwardian Amethyst & Pearl Decorative Pendant
A pretty and traditional pendant from the Edwardian period, c1905. The pendant is made from 9ct gold, marked on the back, and has two little amethyst gemstones set in a classic decorative setting. The amethysts have a good depth of colour and are in lovely condition. This style of pendant was very popular during this period and each one is a little different from the last. There are little seed pearls dotted about the gold and the pendant is complete with a fine antique 9ct gold chain measuring approximately 16”.
This necklace should be worn with care as the chain is fairly fine.
