RESERVED Edwardian Angel Skin Coral & Diamond Ring
A beautiful and unusual ring from the Edwardian period, c1910s. The ring is made from 18ct gold, marked with the French eagles head on the outside of the shank. At the centre is a beautiful rounded ‘dome’ of angel skin coral. The coral has a lovely pale orange colour, though there is a real depth to the gem. Surrounding this is an open design with little rose cut diamonds set into individual settings. The rose diamonds are lovely and sparkly with a subtle grey-ish tone; so delicate to compliment the angel skin coral. The design is unusual with its nod to sun-rays and the pierced gallery has been exquisitely executed. A beautiful quality ring from France.
