
































Edwardian Double Snake Ring
A gorgeous ring from the early 20th Century, dated Chester 1904. The ring is made from solid 9ct gold that has a distinctly rosy hue as is often the case with 9ct gold from this period. It is beautiful quality and features two snakes intertwined with each other, their heads meeting at the top and crossing over. The ring has a lovely, heavy feel and the heads are set with an old cut diamond and an old cut blue sapphire. The snakes have slightly open mouths and the heads are chunky and solid. The tails of each snake adorn each shoulder and the ring is complete with crisp hallmarks.

Size - The heads measure approx 11.2mm wide. The ring is around 8.1mm wide at the back.
Ring Size - UK O US 7 ¼ (measurement on the top edge to account for the width)
Condition - Excellent. Minimal wear. The eye bobbles have slightly rubbed, commensurate with age. A very tiny knick in the table of the diamond, may have been set like this originally.
