Edwardian Enamel Circle Locket

A beautiful locket in original condition from the Edwardian period, c1905. The locket is made from 9ct gold, marked on the back with a little tab, and has a pretty enamel border in white and blue enamel. The locket slides out at the front and contains the original picture of a young child covered with glass. The picture looks to be hand painted and is beautiful work. It can be removed if required, though you could also place your own photo over the top of it, holding the memory in place for your knowledge only.

The chain pictured is for display only.

Size - The locket measures approx 21.5mm in diameter excluding the bail.

Condition - Very good. The enamel is in lovely condition for its age with a minor surface blemish in one very small area.
