Edwardian Opal Hearts Necklace

£195.00

A pretty necklace from the Edwardian period, c1905. The necklace is made from solid 9ct gold, marked on the back, and is an elegant subject. It has a little bow at the top, leading to a stem. At the bottom, there is a decorative frame with a trio of heart shaped natural opals in a trefoil design. It has a floral look and the pendant is complete with two little rubies, one in the bow and the other as a decoration on the opal ‘flower’, and a little split seed pearl at the base of the stem. The pendant is complete with its original chain and barrel clasp. The necklace is a lovely, original example and is in good condition.

This piece should be worn with care as it is fairly fine.
