Edwardian Plain Heart Locket
A lovely locket from the turn of the last century, c1900. The locket is made from 9ct gold with brass frames. The gold of this locket has a particularly nice shine and colour and it looks as if it once had a higher carat of gold wash over the top; a common practice during this period. The heart opens on a hinge and has two frames inside, which can be removed to place your own photos inside. A lovely antique heart locket.
The locket will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.
