Edwardian Rose Diamond Twist Ring
An absolutely stunning ring from the Edwardian period, c1910s. The ring is made from 18ct gold and has the most beautiful rose cut diamond at the centre. The rose cut is an exceptionally clean stone with no obvious inclusions, even viewed through magnification. The surface facets are fairly uniform and they allow the light to bounce around the stone beautifully. This central diamond is claw set and has a twirl design studded with seven rose diamonds on either side. The diamonds are slightly graduated in size and have been set in platinum for maximum impact. The shank has a mild rosy colour and the ring is in excellent condition.
