Edwardian Ruby & Diamond Star Set Ring
A beautiful ring from the turn of the last Century, dated London 1901. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold with lovely clear hallmarks on the inside of the shank. It has a bright old cut diamond at the centre measuring around 2.8mm in diameter, which is flanked by two beautiful deep pink rubies on either side. The rubies could be examples of early synthetic rubies and they have a wonderful depth of colour. The stones are all original with the diamond set in a star design, whilst the rubies are in an off-square shaped design. A lovely quality example of this style of ring, in original condition.
