Edwardian Silver Blue & White Paste Crescent
A wonderful brooch/pendant from the early 20th Century. The pendant is made from sterling silver and is in the shape of a crescent. Set within the expertly made mount are alternating blue and white paste stones that have been cushion cut and are graduating in size. Paste is a type of reinforced glass cut in the same way as gemstones and these particular examples mimic diamonds and blue sapphires. The stones have been faceted beautifully and they really do sparkle in the light. The crescent can be worn as a brooch or a pendant and is a lovely example.

Size - The crescent measures approx 31.5mm in diameter. The largest white paste stone measures approx 5mm in diameter
Condition - Very good. One paste has a chip, though this is not at all noticeable. Please see the last picture for details.
