An excellent pinky ring from the early 20th Century. The ring is made from solid 9ct gold, marked with a ‘9ct’ mark on the inside of one of the shoulders. It is a pretty openwork marquise shape with a stylised spider filling the frame. The spider has a teardrop cultured pearl as its abdomen and a vibrant peridot as its cephalothorax. It is complete with two little red garnet eyes and there is lovely detail to the back too. It is a fairly small size and sits perfectly on the pinky finger.
Details:
Materials - 9ct Gold (marked), Cultured Pearl, Peridot, Garnets
Age - Early 20th Century
Size - The marquise shape measures approx 21mm by 7mm.
Ring Size - UK I US 4 ½ This ring could be resized a little, though there is evidence of a previous re-sizing at the back of the shank. Noted for accuracy only.
