A stunning necklace from the Edwardian period, c1905. The necklace is a Georgian Revival piece based on similar styles from the early 19th Century. This example appears to be later, though plenty of thought and attention has gone into the hand cut ‘old mine cut’ clear paste stones and the chunky rectangular cuts of the yellow/orange ‘citrine’ highlights. At the centre is a wonderful St Esprit, commonly though to represent peace and devotion.
The necklace is finished with a hidden clasp and sits prettily at the base of the neck. It is made from 800 silver, marked on the back of the dove.

Size - The St Esprit measures approx 43mm from the top of the flower to the bottom of the hanging pendant. The bird is around 23mm wide wing tip to wing tip. The necklace has a wearable length of 14.75”, choker length
Condition - Very good. Four of the coloured stones are chipped to the surface, noted for accuracy only and they still fit their settings. One coloured stone looks to be a replacement. All white paste are in excellent condition, bar one along the necklace. Clasp in good working order.
