French Diamond Tank Ring
A lovely tank ring from the middle of the 20th Century, c1940s. The ring is made from solid 18kt gold and is likely French in origin. It has the remnants of a hallmark on the outside of the shank and the design and style is very ‘of the moment’ for French jewellery. It has a lovely ‘tank’ style design and a slightly raised claw set diamond in the centre. The diamond measures approx 3.8mm in diameter making it around 0.2cts. It is nice and bright and certainly eye clean, around H colour, VS clarity. The shoulders of the shank have an elegant split design and the ring is beautiful quality. It makes a statement whilst not being over the top.
