A stunning ring from the late 18th Century, c1790. The ring tests as around 15ct gold and is a very attractive diamond shape. It has bright blue enamel at the centre, which is surrounded by an edge of hand cut rose diamonds. At the centre of the enamel panel is an old mine cut diamond with a small table and chunky facets. The diamonds look to be all original and sparkle in their classic moody way, perfect for candlelight. The centrepiece has the most beautiful reeded back, following the line of the diamond shape. The ring is complete with the original reeded shank and is in excellent antique condition overall.
