Georgian Emerald & Ruby Trilogy Ring

£0.00
sold out

A beautiful ring from the late Georgian period. The ring is made from 18ct gold and is a classic trilogy style. It is fairly simplistic in its make and design and has pinched collet settings with little ball highlights. At the centre is a stunning and vibrant green emerald. Originally, this emerald was in fairly bad shape and it has been re-polished. It is flanked on either side by two rubies and finished with a simple split shank. The rubies are a beautiful deep pink hue. The emerald measures approx 4.2mm square and is a wonderful, vivid centre stone. A simple, yet delightful ring.

This ring is an antique ring and should be worn with care. It is for occasional use, rather than everyday.

Details:

Materials - 18ct Gold (tested), Emerald, Ruby

Age - Early 19th Century

Size - The three stones measure approx 15mm across. The setting is around 7.5mm wide including the gold balls.

Ring Size - UK N 1/2 US 7 This ring could be resized

Condition - Very good. The emerald only just fits in the centre setting, though it is secure in place. The rubies have minimal signs of wear, commensurate with age
