Georgian Glass Heart Locket
A beautiful locket from the late Georgian period, c1820s/30s, in rare excellent condition. The locket has a 9ct gold frame and glass to the front and the back. The glass has a bevelled edge that is in pristine condition and the locket is in amazing shape, particularly considering its age. It is a simplified heart shape, as is often the way with this age of locket. It opens on a hinge and clips shut securely. It appears all original and so stunning in its simplicity.
