A wonderful and unusual locket from the Georgian period, c1820s. The locket is made from solid 15ct gold and features a decorative repetitive pattern on the flowing design around the edge. The textured pattern would have been produced using machinery as jewellers experimented with new equipment and techniques during the period. This has created a pretty and unusual-to-find variation on a classic. The locket has a glass front and back and is hinged to the back to allow you to place your own photos inside.
The chains pictured are for display only.
