Georgian Rose Diamond Pear Pendant

£0.00
sold out

A stunning and unusual pendant from the Georgian period, c1790s. The pendant is made from silver and has gold highlights with an 18kt gold bail. At the centre is a rose diamond sitting in a pinched collet setting. The diamond draws a fair amount of colour and is certainly on the yellower side. Around the central setting is a little band of gold and the outer edge has little rose cut diamonds that are individually set. The pendant is a lovely size and a beautiful shape.

It will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.

Details:

Materials - Silver, Diamonds, 18kt Gold Bail

Age - Late 18th Century

Size - The pear is around 18mm long excluding the bail, and is 15mm wide

Condition - Very good. There is evidence that there may have been a little drop off the bottom of this pendant, though it looks excellent as it is.

Weight - 3.96g pendant only
