Georgian Ruby & Table Cut Diamond Ring
A beautiful ring from the Georgian period, c1790s. The ring came to me as it is, though it is a conversion from an original Georgian brooch. At the centre is a wonderful deep pink ruby, set in a closed back gold setting with a reeded back. The ruby is in beautiful condition and is a truly vibrant colour. To either side are silver set table cut diamonds. The shank of the ring is a simple gold band made from 18ct gold.

Size - The trilogy measures approx 12.1mm wide. The ruby is around 4.2mm by 3.2mm.
Ring Size - UK L 1/2 US 6. This size is difficult to measure on a mandril due to back of ring sitting lower on the finger than the shank. Comfortable when worn. This ring could be resized a little.
Condition - Very good. Evidence of a little lead to the back of the closed back setting, likely from where it was removed from the brooch.
