A beautiful and simple ring from the Georgian period, c1790s. The ring is made from solid gold, testing as around 12ct. It has three gorgeous dusky imperial topaz gemstones set across the finger in closed back settings. The ring has a simple split shank and the soft peachy-brown of the topaz is very beautiful.

Age - Late 18th Century
Size - The settings measure approx 17mm by 7mm.
Ring Size - UK L ½ US 6 It would be best not to resize this ring as there is signs of a previous re-sizing at the back of the shank.
Condition - Good. Wear commensurate with age. There are minimal signs of lead where the closed back setting meets the bezel, noted for accuracy only and likely original to the make. The gemstones are in lovely condition with only mild softening of the facet edges. No noteable chips. Please see the pictures for other condition notes.
