An elegant bracelet from the late 20th Century. The bracelet is made from solid 14kt gold, marked 585 on the back of the head with a makers mark of GK. The body is made from fine gold mesh that has been woven to create a bracelet with a slight spring to it. This allows the bracelet to slide over the hand with ease and sit firmly in place close to the wrist. There is a safety chain for added security. The head of the snake is full of expression and has beautiful, realistic patterns in the gold. The bracelet is complete with two green gemstone eyes, believed to be emeralds.

Details:

Materials - 14kt Gold (marked 585)

Age - Late 20th Century

Size - The head of the snake measures approx 13mm long by 6.2mm wide. The body is approx 3mm wide all the way around. The bracelet is pictured on a 6” wrist, though due to the spring construction it could likely fit up to a 6 3/4” wrist. At rest, the bracelet has an inner width of 5.6mm by 4.6cm high (approx 2 1/4” by 1 7/8”).

Condition - Very good. A couple of very tiny dings in the mesh, noted for accuracy only and not at all noticeable. Both ‘eyes’ have small nibbles in the stones.

Weight - 8.6g
