Late Edwardian Diamond Snake Ring

A pretty and very wearable snake ring from the early 20th Century, dated Chester 1917. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold with full English hallmarks on the inside of the shank. They’re a little worn, but readable. The ring is two intertwined snakes with their heads crossing over at the top. They have cute little bobble eyes and each head is set with an old cut diamond.

Details:

Materials - 18ct Gold (marked), Diamonds

Age - Dated Chester 1917

Size - The two heads measure approx 12mm by 10mm. The diamonds are around 2.1mm in diameter each.

Ring Size - UK N US 6 3/4 This ring cannot be resized.

Condition - Very good. The diamonds are fairly included and one has a fairly heavy graze to the surface one side. All only visible through magnification and the diamonds have plenty of sparkle in their settings.
