A wonderful locket from the late Georgian period, c1830s. The locket is made from solid 15ct gold and is in beautiful condition. It is a pretty heart shape with mixed shape rose cut diamonds set in individual settings around the outside. At the centre is a portrait of a young lady with a head of curls draping over her shoulders and a gentle expression. To the back, the locket can be found. The back slides out, though is secure in place, and you can remove the portrait to add your own if you wish. The locket would also look wonderful with a flower and a backing of silk.
The locket has its original bail, which tucks in behind on a hinge to allow it to be worn as a brooch should you wish. It is in truly lovely condition and seems as if it has hardly been worn.
Details:

Size - The pendant measures approx 28mm long including the bail. It is around 20mm wide.
