A cute heart locket from the turn of the last century, c1900. The locket is made from 9ct gold to the back and the front and has metal interiors; this is a common method of construction during this period where a thick layer of 9ct gold is laid over metal frames to construct a gold locket. This pretty heart has perfect proportions and contains two frames within, which can be removed to place your own photos behind.
The centre front has a star setting with a pretty blue paste stone. The locket is in lovely condition overall and looks great on a chain. The chain pictured is for display only.
