Late Victorian Turquoise & Pearl Heart Pendant
A gorgeous heart pendant from the end of the Victorian period, c1890s. The pendant is made from solid 15ct gold, marked on the back in the traditional way, and has been made in the shape of a stylised heart. The heart at the centre is textured and has little branches reaching out from it. These are studded with natural turquoise and split seed pearls. The pendant is all original and has the original pearl studded bail to complete the piece.
The pendant is hung on a 14ct gold period chain that is a small paperclip style chain. It is in excellent condition and a perfect match for this lovely pendant. It is also marked 14 near the clasp with a traditional mark.
