Moonstone & White Sapphire Cluster Earrings
A beautiful pair of cluster earrings from the early 20th Century, c1920s. The earrings are made from silver and have stunning sugarloaf moonstones at the centre. The moonstones have a pretty soft conical shape and are surrounded by bright white sapphires. The sapphires are old cuts and a lovely compliment to the moonstones. The moonstones have a good blue tone and exhibit plenty of play of light. The back of the earrings are equally as pretty with a lovely pierced gallery.
The earrings will come with solid silver butterfly backs.

Size - The moonstones are around 6.5mm in diameter. The earrings are approx 12mm in diameter in total.
Condition - Very good. One sapphire has been replaced with a paste stone. It appears that it has been secured with glue, though it does seem to be secure in place. In my opinion, this seems more noticeable in the pictures than in person.
