A stunning seal from the early 19th Century, c1830s, the Regency period. The fob is made from solid 15ct gold with an 18ct gold wash. The setting looks to be two colour gold with rich yellow gold as the main design of the seal and paler gold applied decorative details. The top is equally decorative with applied dots throughout. Within this beautiful design, a white agate has been set. The agate has the words ‘Forget Me Not’ carved in an ornate script. Such a beauty, in lovely condition.

Condition - Very good. Some patina to the gold in places. Tricky to clean entirely as best to preserve the beautiful, rich gold colour. Tiny knick to the oval of the agate carving. Noted for accuracy only.
