Studio Blue Topaz & Diamond Ring, 18ct
A beautiful and unusual ring from the mid to late 20th Century. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold, marked on the inside of the shank. It looks as though this could have been a studio piece as the design is very individual and rather appealing. The bezel setting looks to be a deep yellow gold whilst the shank is rose gold, likely a design choice. At the centre is an oval pale blue topaz. The topaz has been set east to west and is a slightly elongated shape. The ring could well have been designed around this gemstone as the proportions of the stone are slightly different from the norm. There are two little diamonds set at either end and the shank twists elegantly around the deep bezel setting.
