Victorian 15ct Gold Sardonyx Drum
A wonderful size pendant from the late Victorian period, c1890s. The pendant has been made in the shape of a drum and is made from 15ct gold. At either end, a lovely piece of sardonyx has been set with a little orangey red circle of the stone showing and a white face on either end. The gold itself is beautifully engraved and the drum is complete with criss cross gold ropes. It appears that the letter ‘R’ is engraved in one section, though this is not wholly obvious and blends into the engraving should you wish it. This is a lovely piece and a great size for something of this nature.
