A gorgeous pendant from the turn of the last century, c1900. The pendant has a solid gold frame that tests as 18ct gold. Within the frame is a glass covered locket, which is double sided. Each side contains colourful feathers that have been arranged to create a picture of a bird. One side is a peacock and the other is a soft red bird, seemingly taking off. The feathers have some iridescence in some lights and are beautiful works of art.
