Victorian 9ct Gold Bead Necklace
A beautiful necklace from the Victorian period. The necklace is made from 9ct gold and has a foxtail link chain running through the centre. Threaded onto this sturdy chain are hollow gold beads that are graduated in size. The largest at the centre front measures approximately 10mm in diameter and the smallest at the back is around 3mm in diameter. The gold has a beautiful soft rose colour and the necklace looks beautiful on the neck. It has a secure bold ring clasp. The beads move independently along the chain and there is plenty of movement across the piece.

Condition - Very good. A couple of very minor dings here and there, nothing of note. There is evidence of low grade gold solder on some of the larger beads, noted for accuracy only and in keeping with the construction of the time.
