Victorian 9ct Gold Celtic Harp Brooch

A lovely brooch from the end of the Victorian period, dated Birmingham 1899. The brooch is made from 9ct gold and has a hollow construction giving it a lightweight feel and allowing it to be worn on a sweater or jacket without falling forwards. It has been made in the shape of a Celtic harp and has beautiful applied shamrocks on the front. The craftmanship is very beautiful and it has a lovely full English hallmark to the back.

Age - Dated Birmingham 1899

Size - The harp measures approx 37.5mm long by 30mm wide

Condition - Excellent. The brooch pin is the original, though it is not gold as is often the way with brooches such as these.
