Victorian 9ct Star Link Chain Bracelet

£0.00
sold out

A stunning bracelet from the Victorian period, c1880s. The bracelet is made from decorative links that have an interlocking pattern all the way along. The links have a line decoration and eight-pointed stars or flowers all over the outside. Each link is exactly the same and there is wonderful movement to the bracelet, almost snakelike, as the links sit so closely together. Though this bracelet came to me as it is, I believe it may have been part of a longer length of chain. The closure and clasp are likely a replacement; all is secure and in good condition.

Details:

Materials - 9ct Gold (marked with a tab on the end of one link and on the clasp)

Age - C1880s

Size - The bracelet measures approx 7mm wide. It is 8” long and would fit a medium to larger wrist well.

Condition - Excellent

Weight - 19.3g
