A super cool necklace from the late Victorian period. The necklace is made from gorgeous polished banded agate cylinders with areas of deep brown and white translucency. These are capped on either end by sterling silver. There are eight sections in total and the necklace is finished with silver dog clip clasps. Such a cool statement on the neck and different from all that I have seen before.

Materials - Sterling Silver (marked on dog clips, tested agate ends), Banded Agate
Age - Late Victorian
Size - The sections measure approx 32mm to 36mm each (slight variation in lengths), by around 7mm wide. The whole necklace measures around 15”, though due to the width, fits more like 14.5”
Condition - Very good. Overall good condition commensurate with age. Some evidence of glue within some of the silver caps. Not at all visible when worn and all caps/agate appear to be secure.
