Victorian Amethyst Heart Pendant
Such a pretty example of this style pf pendant from the turn of the last century, c1900. The pendant is made from 9ct gold, which is marked on the tip at the back, and has a pretty faceted heart shaped amethyst set in a gold frame. The amethyst is fairly pale and has a slightly pinkish undertone to it. It is complimented perfectly by the slightly rose colour of the antique gold. The setting is further enhanced with little balls around its edge and this is a lovely pendant, very typical of the period.
The pendant will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.
