Victorian Banded Agate Locket
A stunning locket made on a grand scale. The locket is from the Victorian period and is made from gold coloured metal that has a matte appearance. To the front is a stunning dome of banded agate with a distinctive white stripe down the centre. This sits in a rope twist bordered frame. The outer edges have lovely architectural details set with 20 more little banded agates. These each have a central white stripe and are a wonderful detail. To the back, there is a locket frame with the original glass in tact. This can be removed to place your own photo or momento inside.
