A beautiful necklace from the late Victorian period. The necklace is made from silver and has five simple claw settings to the front that have stunning banded agates set into them. The agates are a lovely deep brown with a white stripe through the centre. There are also some shades of tan within the stones and the necklace has plenty of character. The chain is a simple cable chain and the necklace looks lovely when worn.

Size - The central agate is the largest and measures approx 19.5mm by 12.6mm. The five agates together measure around 76mm across the neck. The wearable length is around 16.5”
Condition - Very good. Minimal wear commensurate with age. One agate has a little pierced hole in the back. Not sure why, and this does not reach the surface.
