Victorian Beehive Motto Seal
A lovely seal from the Victorian period. The seal is 9ct gold cased and the gold has a rosy hue to it. It has been designed as decorative fern leaves with berries at the base of the bail. The base is a milky white glass seal with a beehive and bees engraved into it. Around the beehive is the motto ‘Industry Meets Its Reward’. The glass is damaged in one corner, though the motto can mainly still be seen; the price has been adjusted to reflect this.
